Tai Kwun’s inaugural exhibition, “100 Faces of Tai Kwun”, immerses visitors in 100 stories, collected from 100 “kaifongs” 街坊 and friends, in order to explore the history of the Central Police Station cluster through an investigation of the intricate relationships among the neighborhood. Being the only interactiveArt participant in the interactive artwork with Flying Pig, one of the famous Hong Kong artists, we have utilized interaction motion technology to demonstrate the lifestyle and characteristics of the people in Central vividly. When the visitors run their fingers through the interactive projection wall, which features the main streets in the old days, many facets of the old city will be moved animatedly. Visitors can grab a glimpse of the long-vanished Central with a picturesque streetscape through this interactive experience, retrospect, and feel the heart and soul of this place.
